The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent client service, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals within the clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform client assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans.
Provide a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, relaxation, and therapeutic massage.
Educate clients on self-care techniques, posture, and lifestyle adjustments to support their wellness goals.
Maintain accurate records of client treatment history and progress.
Collaborate with other wellness practitioners to provide integrated care.
Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
Promote services through client education and participation in community wellness events.
Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in massage therapy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid license to practice massage therapy in Manitoba.
At least one year of professional experience after certification.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Client-focused approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
Knowledge of holistic wellness practices is an asset.
