We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Fortify. As a Massage Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in providing treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our patients. Skills and assets you’ll bring to Fortify:
– Current registration and license to practice as a Registered Massage Therapist in Manitoba.
– Degree or diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
– Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
– Strong knowledge of various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Other “nice to have” skills:
– Experience in developing and implementing self-care strategies for clients.
– Familiarity with complementary therapies that enhance the effectiveness of massage therapy.
– A background in trauma-informed care or experience working with diverse populations is highly valued.
